What we collect, and why.

What we collect

Guestlist requests. When you put your name down for a venue through this site, we collect your name, phone number, email address, the venue, the night and your party size. That is what the door needs to find you.

Messages you send us. Anything you submit through the contact form, a venue submission or a correction, so we can reply.

Usage data. Pages viewed, clicks, approximate location from your IP address, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site.

Cookies, analytics and advertising pixels

We use cookies and similar technologies. These include analytics tools and advertising and measurement pixels from third parties such as Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram). They set cookies and send those providers limited event data, such as pages viewed and requests completed, so we can measure what works and show relevant ads to people who have visited the site.

Those providers use the data under their own privacy policies. You can limit this with your browser’s cookie controls, your device’s advertising settings, and the ad preferences offered by Google and Meta.

How we use it

To pass your guestlist request to the venue and confirm it back to you, to reply to you, to understand how the site is used and improve it, to measure and run advertising, and to prevent abuse. Guestlist confirmations and reminders may be sent by text message; reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them.

Who we share it with

Venues and their door teams, who receive the details needed to honour your guestlist request. Once a venue has your details, its own privacy practices apply.

Service providers that operate parts of the site for us: hosting, form handling, analytics, advertising measurement, reservation and guestlist platforms, email and text message delivery. They receive only what they need to do the job. Some of them process data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it is subject to local law.

Authorities, when the law requires it. We never sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

Guestlist details for as long as needed to run the night and handle any follow-up. Usage data as long as our analytics tools retain it. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Your choices

Reply STOP to any text to stop guestlist texts. Ask us what we hold about you, or to correct or delete it, at editorial@torontonightclubs.com. We respond within 30 days.

Age

The venues we cover are 19+ and so is this site. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 19.
