Our take on Future

Editorial review by the TorontoNightclubs.com team.

  • Vibe & production 4.4
  • Door & service 3.3
  • Value 3.7

Best for

  • A big, high-production night out — lights, sound and a packed floor
  • EDM and house fans on Fridays, hip-hop and Top 40 fans on Saturdays
  • Late nights — the 4am close runs well past most Toronto clubs

Skip if

  • You want an intimate room — this is a large, high-energy club
  • You can't get there early — door waits build on busy nights
  • You need step-free access to the downstairs Infinity Room

Future is the multi-genre Queen West club that took over a heritage bank building and turned the vault and the columns into a club aesthetic nothing else in the city has. EDM, house, and hip-hop rotate across the weekend, and the building gives the room a production quality most newer venues can't engineer from scratch.

What you're paying for is the architecture. The high ceilings, the vault behind the DJ booth, the column work down the middle — none of that's CGI, all of it's the actual room. Pricing is $$$, weekends only, the dress code is enforced, and the music programming rotates between EDM Fridays and hip-hop Saturdays depending on the booking.

Bottom line: if you want a Queen West club with a building that actually matters, Future is the answer. EDM Friday or hip-hop Saturday — book to the night. Skip if you wanted Apt 200's clubhouse energy or Ultraviolet's underground feel; Future is more dressed-up, more architectural, and priced accordingly.

How to get into Future

Practical entry tips for guestlist and walk-up guests.

Best arrival times
  • Guestlist: arrive before 11:45pm — guestlist guests typically enter free until then, so getting there early saves on cover and beats the line.
  • Bottle service: arrive around 10:30–11pm to settle into your booth before the room builds.
  • Walk-up: the line builds on busy nights — the earlier you arrive, the shorter the wait. Late arrival means the longest queue.
Cover & the line
  • Cover generally runs about $15–$25 on a regular club night, with higher pricing for big-name DJ events.
  • Guestlist guests usually enter free before 11:45pm — entry is at management discretion.
  • Door waits are one of the more common complaints at Future on busy nights, so build in time and arrive early.
  • Bottle-service guests skip the cover and the line.
Groups & what the door looks for
  • Balanced, well-dressed groups arriving early get through the easiest.
  • Groups of 4–6 are the smoothest size for guestlist.
  • Large all-guy groups should arrive early or consider a booth.
  • For a bigger group, a bottle-service booth is the most reliable entry on a busy weekend.
ID requirements
  • Valid government photo ID is required — passport, Ontario driver's license, or Canadian provincial photo card.
  • Legal age in Ontario is 19+, and Future enforces it strictly — no minors are admitted.
  • Photocopies, photos of ID, and expired ID aren't accepted.
Dress code, in detail
  • The rule: fashionable-forward attire. No athletic wear, no shorts, no sweats, no track suits, and no side-bags.
  • Fridays are slightly more relaxed — most outfit choices are welcome, and hats are permitted.
  • Saturdays require fashionable attire, and hats are not permitted (except Future-branded hats).
  • Coat check can't store prohibited items like side-bags — leave them at home.
Keep your belongings close
  • Some guests have reported issues with personal belongings at Future — travel light and keep valuables on you.
  • Avoid bringing anything you'd be upset to misplace; phones and ID in a secured pocket are the safe move.
  • If you use coat check, keep your ticket somewhere reliable.
The Infinity Room
  • The Infinity Room is Future's secondary lounge, downstairs in the same building at 570 Queen West.
  • Some events — including midweek Industry nights — are branded as Infinity Room nights; either name gets you to the same address.
  • Note: the downstairs Infinity Room is not wheelchair accessible.

About Future

A heritage bank turned high-tech Queen West nightclub.

Future is a large, multi-genre nightclub at 570 Queen Street West, in Queen West just east of Bathurst. It opened in 2024 inside a converted heritage building — once a Royal Bank branch, a stately early-20th-century structure — and the room makes a feature of that history: classic marble floors, original vault doors, decorative columns, set against LED video walls, laser arrays and a full light rig. It comes from the team behind Ultraviolet Toronto and other venues in Toronto and Las Vegas.

The main dance floor holds roughly 500-600 guests, with VIP booth areas and private bars on either side. The sound system is built around an E11EVEN Miami setup, and the programming is multi-genre: EDM and house with guest DJs on Fridays, hip-hop, Top 40 and mashups on Saturdays. One real differentiator is the hours — Future is one of the few clubs in the area licensed to a 4am last call, well past the 2-3am close most Toronto rooms run. The crowd skews younger and dance-floor-driven.

The building also contains the Infinity Room, a secondary lower-level lounge. Some events — including midweek Industry nights — are branded specifically as Infinity Room nights, but it's the same venue at the same address; one practical note is the downstairs Infinity Room isn't wheelchair accessible. Future is a big, production-led room rather than an intimate one, and guest reports do flag door waits and inconsistent service on busy nights — arrive early and travel light. The best clubs in Toronto guide has other options.
