Par-Tee Putt takes the simplest possible pitch — mini golf plus a real bar — and executes it well. The room sits on the second floor of 26 Duncan, right at the Adelaide corner where the Entertainment District starts to hum, and it packs in 18 themed holes, ping pong tables, three dart lanes and a bar into a space that runs kid-friendly by afternoon and adults-only after 8pm.

The economics are part of the appeal. A nine-hole round (The Par) is $14.95 and the full 18 (The Birdie) is $24.95, which for the neighbourhood is cheap entertainment per hour.
