Best for
- Latin and reggaeton fans — Bad Bunny / Karol G / Daddy Yankee / Romeo Santos is the whole format
- Bachelorettes and girls' nights — ladies free + 1 free drink before 11:30pm on most Fridays
- The 11pm-arriving crowd — everyone free before 11:00 cuts cover entirely
- Brazilian baile funk fans — occasional 'FUNK TBT' nights bill as the biggest Brazilian party in Canada
- Groups looking for a cheaper Latin bottle service alternative to NEST upstairs
Skip if
- You want a venue-led brand identity — Myst is heavily promoter-driven, not editorially-anchored
- You expected variety — Latin and reggaeton are the whole bet, not multi-genre
- You need a Friday-Saturday-only-not-other-days schedule — most other nights are dark or private
- You're looking for NEST upstairs — different room, different door, different programming entirely
Myst is the basement Latin and reggaeton room at 423 College, directly under NEST, in the space that used to be Hush Hush. The rebrand happened in 2024-2025, and most Eventbrite events still carry "(old Hush Hush)" in the title — partly for legacy search, partly because the rebrand hasn't fully landed in people's heads yet. The new brand lives almost entirely on Instagram and the iLoveThatParty Eventbrite. The official site, mysttoronto.com, exists, but it isn't where the action is.
Programming is real and consistent, and that's what's carrying the room. Reggaeton Fridays — Top 40, reggaeton, R&B, hip-hop, Latin bangers — and Myst Latin Saturdays — straight Latin format with salsa, bachata, dembow — both run by iLoveThatParty / CLUBLIFE. Ladies free plus one free drink before 11:30 most Fridays is the headline door perk and is the single most quotable thing about the venue. DJ Mechon, Itz Nico P, Sebasounds rotate the resident sets. Bad Bunny, Daddy Yankee, Karol G, Romeo Santos — heavy rotation, no apologies.
Position-on-the-block math: NEST is upstairs, bigger, more premium, more international booking. Myst is downstairs, smaller, more genre-focused, more value-friendly at the door. Two different rooms in the same building, two different doors, two different programs. If your group wants the main-room reggaeton experience, that's NEST upstairs on the right night. If your group wants the cheaper, smaller Latin basement room, that's here.
Bottom line: Reggaeton Friday before 11:30 if you're a group of women looking for free entry plus a free drink. Latin Saturday for the deeper Latin format. Walk-up after midnight is a coin flip — the basement is small, capacity is real. And yes, this is the space that used to be Hush Hush.
